From New Haven/New York:  Take I-95 North to Exit 55.  Turn right onto Rt. 1 North/East (E. Main Street) for 0.3 miles.  Turn left onto Rt. 139 North (N. Branford Road) for 2.4 miles. Turn Right onto Rt. 80 East for 7.9 miles to a roundabout.  At the roundabout take the third exit onto Rt. 79 North for 3.6 miles.  Turn hard right onto County Road and the Nathaniel Steven House will be 0.8 miles up on your left. From Providence: Take I-95 South to Exit 61.  Turn right onto Rt. 79 North for 5.4 miles to a roundabout.  At the roundabout take the second exit to stay on  Rt. 79 North for 3.6 miles.  Turn hard right onto County Road and the Nathaniel Steven House will be 0.8 miles up on your left. From Hartford: Take I-91 South to Exit 22S (left exit) to Rt. 9 South.  Take Exit 13 onto Rt. 17 South for 0.5 miles.  Bear left, staying on Rt. 17 for 6.4 miles.  At a fork in the road, bear left onto Rt. 79 South for 4.5 miles.  Turn left onto County Road and the Nathaniel Steven House will be 0.8 miles up on your left.   From Columbia, CT:  Take Rt. 66 West toward Portland.  In Portland, turn left to stay on Rt. 66/17 (Main Street) and go over the bridge.  Continue on Main Street in Middletown for 0.7 miles and turn right onto Pleasant Street.  The road name quickly changes to Rt. 17 South (S. Main Street).  Stay on Rt. 17 South for 6.4 miles.  At a fork in the road, bear left onto Rt. 79 South for 4.5 miles.  Turn left onto County Road and the Nathaniel Steven House will be 0.8 miles up on your left.   From Essex, CT:  Take Rt. 9 North to Exit 5.  Turn left onto Rt. 80 West (W. Elm Street) for 1.3 miles.  At stop sign, turn right to stay on Rt. 80 West (now Winthrop Road).  Stay o Rt. 80 for 5.9 miles (road changes names several times) until you reach a roundabout.  At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on Rt. 80 West for 4.2 miles until you reach a second roundabout.  At the roundabout take the first exit onto Rt. 79 North for 3.6 miles.  Turn hard right onto County Road and the Nathaniel Steven House will be 0.8 miles up on your left.
